As a young boy I have been to Africa with my parents for years. Later I came back and refreshed my recollection and impressions. I'll never forget the pyramids of Saqqara, the oasis Siwa and El Fayoum. The white and black desert and the Red Sea.
Because Africa is a continent which is totally ignored by most news services, although it's beauty and serious problems, I try to call attention to it with the name of the Kilimanjaro.
Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa, reaches 5,895 meters (19,340 feet) above sea level. It is the tallest free-standing mountain on the Earth's land surface, rising about 4,600 meters (15,000 feet) above the surrounding plain.
